Tribute to Joey Dunlop

Five times Formula 1 World Champion and 26 times TT winner, Joey Dunlop, died on Sunday 2nd July whilst competing in an International road race in Estonia, and left the racing fraternity with an enormous sense of loss and disbelief.

In Estonia,!! after years of successfully racing on the Isle of Man, thought by many to be the worlds most dangerous course. Like many other tragic accidents, the circumstances seem to make it even more unbelieveable. It just goes to show that we have no control over what will be.

So believe it we must; and we can only remember what an exceptional rider and person he was; who gave so much to so many people on and off the race circuit. He was a man who set incredibly high standards for those following to aspire to. He was loved all the more because of his modesty and character, and he will be sorely missed.

Our hearts go out to Linda and the family, and we understand what you are going through. God bless you.
