Ducati Scrambler Hailwood

“Dave and I have just returned from Thailand for the launch of the new Ducati Scrambler Hailwood, a special edition of only 58 bikes, to be sold by invitation in Thailand or online - Website https://www.scramblerhailwood.com/

The launch was held on the 21st March at the Bangkok Motor and Motorcycle Show, Thailand’s biggest show, and was attended by many Thai celebrities.

Dave had the honour of wheeling the bike out on to the stage, and I made a short speech, as attached.

The number of 58 bikes was chosen because it was in 1958 when Mike first rode a Ducati, and launched on the 21st March because it marked the 35th anniversary of the accident which claimed Mike’s life and also that of Michelle our daughter.

Dave and I would like to send our sincerest thanks to Apichat Leenutaphong (Nat) and his wonderful team at Ducatisti Co. Ltd and especially Thida, for their help and kindness in looking after us so well.
