Mike Hailwood and Luigi Taveri
Swiss Honda-teammember Luigi Taveri on the pillion
of a Honda 500 four, early seventies -
Robert Pfeffer
Agree it is Luigi Taveri on pillion, the bike is a 750cc
Honda four, not a 500cc. Honda did not make a roadgoing
500cc four. - peter

I agree Luigi Taveri on pillion. It is a Honda CB500
Four, Honda did produce a roadgoing 500 Four, it's
definitely not a 750, you can tell by the the vertical (not
slanted) cylinder block and the trumpet pipes. -
Eric Stothard
This is: I concur that Mike is pillioning Luigi Taveri
and the motorcycle is definitely the Honda CB500 Four, a
lovely sweet running machine, clearly identifiable by the
overall size of the bike, the tank finish and unique CB500
Four fluted 4 into 4 exhausts, to my knowledge no other
Honda Motorcycle was released with the fluted ends to the
mufflers. - Derek Hanbidge
Sorry Peter, it's a CB500 indeedy,I Got one so I should
know.... - Yossef Schvetz
