In the picture Mike is seen on his 864 Ducati leading
Steve Manship and Ron Haslam both on 888 Hondas at Donington
in the T.T. Formula 1 Race. It was a fantastic race only
spoilt when Mike came off at Coppice Corner on lap 18 out of
20 while leading (Mike got to his feet unhurt.) The race was
won by Roger Marshal with Ron Haslam in second and Steve
Manship in third, Mike and Roger Marshal set the joint
fastest lap in record time of 1m-19.4s a speed of 88.73mph.-
