I believe this to be at the top loop at the now defunct Amaroo Park circuit in Australia. Mike was partnered by Aussie Jim Scaysbrook. (author of "Australia's Motorcycling Heritage"). Advertiser Three Hour Adelaide - April 1978 - Mike's Ducati was hastily rebuilt after I crashed it in qualifying. The local Ducati agent and a team of helpers worked all night to replace all the bent bits - we used the front forks out of one of the local rider's own bike and had to pull them out again and reeturn the parts after the race.
