On this day Mike competed in 3 races. He won the production race on a 650cc BSA Lightning.The 350cc race on a 350cc 7R Kirby Matchless and the 500 race on a MV Agusta. I was there and it could prove did not always need the most powerful bike in a race to win. Sorry Robert you are way off track. There are no MV's in this shot, (they are Kirby AJS 350cc 7R machines) and no John Hartle, as I previously stated. - Jim Blanchard
